I have been there, seen it and got the t-shirt. 

The diet and life style choices I made in my teens, 20s and 30s set me on a path for hormone chaos.  But in my late 30s/early 40s things started to change. I could no longer function like I used to. Trying to burn the candle at both ends: I was running on empty due to my appalling diet, yet experiencing weight gain, around my hips, thighs and tummy! Suffering from poor sleep, increasing anxiety, extreme mood swings and feeling increasingly tired all the time. This coincided with a very demanding time in my career, working long hours. Self care was non-existent.   I consulted my doctor who prescribed CBT Therapy for anxiety the other symptoms were put down to age. 

This was the moment I realized things needed to change. I had to be accountable for my health if I wanted to remain mentally and physically active into my old age.  So, I retrained to become both a Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Health Coach. With the knowledge and skills I gained I made significant changes to my diet and lifestyle. I have improved my symptoms and taken back control of my life.
